A Few More Vacation Pics

Playing in the Sand

Here are a few vacation pics to start with. Isaiah enjoyed eating the sand more than anything. Reese got upset once because she had 'sandcastle in her eye'. They both really enjoyed vacation and Reese is already asking to go again.

Side note, Reese has started answering yes and no questions, which is really exciting to us. I was encouraging her to play pretend with a big box last week and said, 'Reese, is this your house?', to which she replied, 'No Mommy, that is not my house, that is a box.'. Exciting stuff:)

No More Pacis

So I decided it was time for the kids to give up their pacifiers. Isaiah was starting to drop his out of the crib and steal Reese's when he would help wake her up. So we went cold turkey on Friday. They are doing fairly well. Isaiah cries for a few minutes when we put him down to sleep, but that's it. We gave Reese a 'big girl pillow' for her crib when we took away the pacis. You can tell she thinks it's a rip off. She no longer looks forward to bed. She'll say, "No more pacis, have a pillow now" in this pathetic voice. She is in mourning. It makes us sad, but we were going to have to do it sometime!

I still have to post our vacation pics. We need to put them on this computer and then sort thru them. Here are some pics since we've been home. Isaiah is starting to crawl on his knees and pulling up and cruising. He is really enjoying his newfound mobility. You can also see some of his new teeth in the pictures. Today we were outside and he was crawling everywhere in the grass and loving it.
