Playing together

Here are a few random pics. The first is from our friend Wesley's birthday party. Wesley actually came to visit us yesterday, and it was SO GOOD to have friends to play with! Obviously the next picture is from our packing days in our old house, endless hours of entertainment with boxes. And the last one is a random picture from the beach. Who knew how hard it was to get two kids to look at the camera and smile, and we're getting ready to add another one to the mix. Only 7-8 weeks to go! Hopefully we can close on our house in two weeks so we can get everything settled in before the new one arrives!

Memphis Kiddie Park

Two weeks ago, Michael had to go to Louisville to take a class, so the kids and I went to Cleveland. We visited Memphis kiddie park, which was a place I have fond memories of as a kid. Last year Reese rode the roller coaster with me and loved it, but this year I obviously couldn't ride it with her. I wasn't sure how she would do going by herself, but she still loved it. She made a friend named Sophie who rode with her a few times. She even had Isaiah ride with her, and I'm not sure if you can see it from the picture, but he HATED it and cried the whole time. Isaiah, however, loved the car that went around a track, who would've thought? He kept going back and riding the cars like Reese loved the rollercoaster. Fun times.

Some pool pictures from vacation

Here are a few pics of the kids at the pool. They had a BLAST jumping off the side of the pool into our arms. They had no fear. It was a bit exhausting for us, but such a joy to see them have so much fun. Side note, Happy 2nd birthday to Isaiah. It's hard to believe he is so grown up already. I'll post some birthday pics soon, we did another Chuck E Cheese bday and I made him an ice cream cake since the kid doesn't like cake. Also, our house still hasn't closed, so please pray that it does by Friday! Thanks.

A few beach pictures

I wanted to put up a couple of vacation pics. Here are some from our mornings at the beach. Reese loved building sandcastles and really enjoyed the ocean as well. Isaiah took a while to warm up to the water and quickly got bored and whiny. Maybe the next time we go he'll be more into his time at the beach.

it's been a while

Here are just a few random pictures to post something. I still have to sort through our vacation pics and put up a few of those too. Well, we are here in Cincinnati now, it's hard to believe! The last week has been quite the flurry of activity, now we are trying to settle in to life here. We actually haven't closed on our house yet, so you can pray that all works out smoothly! Our internet, phone, and cable gets hooked up tomorrow, so that will be helpful for posting pictures too. Hope everyone is well and I hope to get back to posting more regularly soon.
